Colorado Springs Neighborhoods
Colorado is known for wide-open space and natural beauty, and Colorado Springs is no exception. The city of Colorado Springs is spread over 193 square miles (2,159 square miles in El Paso County total) and neighborhoods include heavily treed areas like Black Forest, other sections nestled at the foot of the mountains like Manitou Springs and more rural living in places like Falcon and Peyton on the Eastern edge of El Paso County. Of course, there is still urban living in the heart of Colorado Springs (Central) which includes lofts and historic single family homes.
The Gazette newspaper, in cooperation with Pikes Peak Association of Realtors, released a study of all the neighborhoods in Colorado Springs over the last 11 years, looking at everything from percentage of appreciation to average price per square foot. Take a look at your neighborhood, or research any neighborhood of interest:
